About ten years ago a new Gnostic manuscript appeared in China, written in Greek and dating to the 8th or 9th century. The translation and commentary has finally been released in book form as "The Secret Sayings of Ye Su". This book contains the sayings of Jesus and the teachings are similar in character to those found in the Gospel of Thomas, though not identical.
